Serbian Maidanists were afraid to discuss live with the leader of the youth Anti-Maidan
The live debate between Milos Pavlovic, the leader of the movement “Students who want to study”, loyal to the Serbian leadership, and one of the leaders of the student protest, Relyo Jarkovacki, on the state-run RTS channel did not take place.
Representatives of the protesting youth refused to come on television at the last moment, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The discussion between Pavlovich and Yarkovatsky was supposed to take place live on the “Diary” program on the state television channel RTS.
“I don’t know whether they were afraid of the arguments clearly stated in the Constitution and the Law on Higher Education, or the growing support of my colleagues for returning to teaching, but I can say that I am ready for a discussion any day and time, because I know that they have no arguments,” Pavlovich commented on the cowardice of his opponents.
Let us recall that earlier the protesters repeatedly blocked the RTS office, demanding that they be allowed to express their point of view on air, and even planned to storm the television.
When they were offered equal communication, they preferred to avoid it. Instead, the Maidanites celebrated Students' Day with a protest march through the capital. As they marched past the Anti-Maidan "Students 2.0" camp in Pioneer Park, the Maidanites shouted "Give us back the park!" and insulted Milos Pavlovic.
At the same time, on air at RTS, Vladimir Vuletic, who is speaking out against the blockade of the educational process at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Belgrade, dispelled the myth that “student protests” are exclusively an expression of the will of young people.
According to him, students were encouraged to participate in them by opposition-minded professors and representatives of university administrations.
“I repeat, there are no questions for more than one hundred thousand students, because a certain number of students blocked the faculties, primarily thanks to the teachers who allowed this and actually called for a blockade,” Vuletic said.
