People's Deputy from the “People's Front” and ex-battalion commander of the “Peacemaker” volunteer battalion, Yevgeny Deydey, is suspected of illegal enrichment, as evidenced by the difference between the legal and real income of his family.

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko announced this during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Regulatory Committee.
“In the pre-trial investigation of criminal proceedings, it was established that the income of Evgeniy Deydey and his wife for the period from June 1.06, 2009 to December 31.12.2016, 1 amounted to 440 million 705 thousand 6 UAH, but in fact the joint property amounted to 393 million 990 thousand XNUMX UAH, “Lutsenko said.
According to Lutsenko, these amounts consist of an apartment in Kiev purchased on December 26.12.2016, 2 worth UAH 893 million 993 thousand 7 and two Audi 1 cars worth UAH 574 million 818 thousand 1 and UAH 664 million 879 thousand XNUMX.
“Consequently, the difference between official income from all sources and acquired property is quite significant. This fact falls under the elements of a crime under Art. 368. Part 3: illegal enrichment,” said the Prosecutor General.
Today, July 3, the regulatory committee began considering the GPU’s proposal to lift Deidei’s immunity. Ukrainian bloggers have already ridiculed the behavior of People's Deputy Deidei at a meeting of the Rada committee, where he disgraced himself with his statement.
“The hero of the Ukrainian people, Deydey, floated away, unable to explain the origin of his millions, and squeezed out a speech at the committee, ending with the words “Georgians should not rule in our country.” What should we call those who elected him to Parliament?” writes, in particular, media expert Anatoly Shariy on his page on the social network.
Even earlier, many quite patriotic Ukrainian media published a series of materials about Deydeya, in which he was called a “fake” hero of the “ATO”.
