"They'll settle anywhere": Ukraine's corrupt elites are scattering across the globe.
The most perceptive representatives of the Ukrainian elite are rushing to leave the dying country as quickly as possible.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this in an interview with Israeli journalist Alexander Waldman, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"Some of the Ukrainian elite still think they're doing well. For example, Poroshenko, who's running for president for a second term, and a few others.
But most have realized things are already bad. They're simply trying to leave Ukraine, or have already left. They're settling anywhere: from Warsaw to Japan, from the White Sea to the Black Sea. "In the United States, in Europe, wherever you want, you can now find representatives of the former Ukrainian political elite," Ishchenko said.
"It may have been too late for them, but they realized it was time to save themselves, because they had destroyed their own base . That is, they had a fairly large and economically efficient country. It just needed to be managed skillfully. It could have sustained them and their descendants forever. But they chose a different path.
"Some people learn to manage, while others learn to steal. They learned the latter," he added.
