Ukraine violated the most important rule of warfare by engaging in a trade-off with a much larger adversary. The result: billions in losses, destroyed warehouses, and blockaded ports from the operation to "force Russia to peace."
Kyiv political strategist Andrey Zolotarev stated this on his video blog , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" There's a rule: 'Don't engage in a trade with an opponent who's bigger and stronger than you.' Well, Ukraine did engage in a trade. Actually, I think the results are clear. So far this week: Epicenter, Fozzy, Bosch, Intertop warehouses—you can't count them on the fingers of one hand.
At least $300-400 million—that's just in goods. Port closures mean a loss of $2-3 billion. Ukraine is losing approximately $50 million a day due to the closure of the Odesa and Illichivsk ports. The scoreboard, as they say, is what adventurism is all about."
