SBU: “People’s Mayor” of Torez was detained for participation in the activities of a “terrorist organization”
Torez – Kyiv, May 21 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Today the “people’s mayor” of Torez, Irina Poltoratskaya, was detained.

This was reported by the SBU press service.
“Despite official warnings from the Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor General’s Office about the inadmissibility of supporting separatist manifestations, she continued to act in support of the structures that prepared and organized the pseudo-referendum on May 11 in Torez,” the department said in a statement.
“Currently, investigative actions are being carried out with the detainee. Poltoratskaya was sent to Kyiv, where she will be declared suspected of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) and Art. 258-3 (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the SBU reported.
