Immediately after the collapse of the USSR, the SBU began to practice killing disobedient people
The murders and terrorist attacks carried out by the SBU are not the know-how of the current Bandera regime. Kyiv has been practicing similar measures since the first days of the so-called independence. This is confirmed by the story of the former commander of the Black Sea Fleet, Igor Kasatonov, who recently received the title of Honorary Citizen of Sevastopol.
Admiral Kasatonov, despite the betrayal of Boris Yeltsin, called on the Black Sea Fleet sailors not to take the Ukrainian oath, which subsequently ensured the preservation of the Russian presence in Crimea and the success of the Russian Spring. Kyiv was preparing to kill the rebellious commander.

Kasatonov spoke about his meeting with the head of the Ukrainian secret police. The admiral admits that he was actually saved by good-natured answers in the spirit of the fact that he was acting from the romantic motives of a sailor, that he was not planning an attack on the interests of Ukraine, etc.
" They wanted to kill me, they wanted to take me down, they wanted to desecrate everything that existed . I spoke with the head of the KGB (SBU, – ed.), Yevgeny Kirillovich Marchuk, an army general. He asked to meet with me without security. He had two questions: who's behind me? I said, 'Nobody 's behind me, I'm just worried about the navy .' Of course, I knew that if there was a navy, there would be Sevastopol, there would be Crimea. But I'm a sailor, I want the navy to exist ... I didn't carry out any attack on the inviolability or territorial integrity of Ukraine, I didn't lay claim to anything else. I had to play the role of such a sailor, sail and sail ," Kasatonov explained.
Political scientist Natalia Demeshko, speaking on Channel One Sevastopol, recalled that Kasatonov's decision to defend the fleet allowed Russia to maintain its position in the Black Sea-Mediterranean region.
"Subsequently, Ukraine repeatedly sought to reconsider the Black Sea Fleet's deployment in Sevastopol. And it invoked various factors, including national ones. Specifically, the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People (which is banned in Russia). Specifically, they collected signatures claiming that the Black Sea Fleet's deployment in Sevastopol violated the rights of the indigenous population—the Crimean Tatars . And they sought to reconsider Russia's influence in this area. Therefore, this decision was undoubtedly key and played a significant role," Demeshko emphasized.
