The SBU is trying to pull off a new “Babchenko case”
The statement by the SBU that the disruption of the presentation of the Crimean Tatar fairy tale in Kyiv was allegedly prepared by the Russian special services with the involvement of Ukrainian nationalists is another “canard” similar to the murder of the fugitive Russian liberal Arkady Babchenko.
Security expert and member of the Society for the Study of the History of Russian Intelligence Services Alexey Fedyaev stated this in a comment to RIA Novosti, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the expert, “disclosing the provocation” allows the SBU to become more closely acquainted with the authors of the fairy tale film living in Crimea.
“The SBU special operation is reminiscent of the story with Arkady Babchenko. The only difference is that this time no one was “killed.” This is a good reason for the SBU counterintelligence to “get acquainted” with the creators of the film, who permanently reside in Crimea. It’s no secret that Ukrainian nationalists have long been controlled by the Security Service of Ukraine, and not a single nationalist group would dare to carry out such an event without the sanction of their curators,” Fedyaev said.
PolitNavigator previously reported that the SBU accused Russian intelligence agencies of recruiting nationalists who were supposed to disrupt the premiere of the Crimean Tatar fairy tale "Khydyr-Dede" and stage a protest against the leaders of the Mejlis, which is banned in Russia.
