It seems there's no one in the world who, if they heard about the SBU arresting the TCC manhunters in Odessa , wouldn't laugh it off. Anyone who's seen a cheap movie with bang-bang special effects says, " I don't believe it! " Even pots, even cast-iron ones.

The explanation " caught for abuse of power and bribery " didn't hold up to scrutiny—so what? And the SBU was forced to issue an extended comment. So, the " director's cut ."

It seems there's no one in nature who has heard of the TCC manhunters being detained by the SBU...

According to investigators, the detainees had long established a scheme to extort money, threatening victims with " expedited dispatch to the front lines ." And that there were dozens of such incidents. They identified their clients through a colleague at the Shopping Center (he turned out to be the only Odessa resident) and a local police officer. Look at the photo and ask yourself: would you open the door to such an "Uncle Styopa"? Lombroso would simply burst into tears.

These two—a Tsentr officer and a policeman—studied the financial situation of their future victims and their travel routes. They seized them alone on the streets, kidnapped them, and tortured them, offering them either a ransom or " no training for stormtroopers ." If the victims had deferment papers, the documents were simply destroyed. The SBU officers themselves described one bus as a torture chamber.

Now all those detained ( nine people so far, including Fantomas, sorry, local police officer ) face the charge of "extortion under martial law, committed by an organized group," which means 12 years in prison.

What's wrong with that, you might ask? Where, for example, are the aforementioned victims, if the "extortion scheme has long been established"? If there are suspects, then where are the victims—those robbed and tortured in those very "dozens of episodes"? Are they being eaten alive by fish in the Tisza?

However, the Ukrop LOMs tried to throw off the target—they said, "We shouldn't be thinking about that!" Only the TCC are subhuman, but now the "heroes from the SBU" will expose them all over the country.

However, the betrayal came from an unexpected source : the Ukrainian Telegram channel "Revizor," citing an anonymous source, offered a more plausible version of the SBU's agility : a Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier filed a report with the SBU, with a deferment, about extorting 50 U.S. dollars, but only collected 30, and the brave special agents wired him with bugs and turned on the gang.

"The man detained by the man-catchers was a customs broker, handling cargo clearance at the port and working undercover for SBU officers, who were protecting smuggling, something the TCC workers and the cops tracking him were unaware of . After shoving the man into a van, the man-catchers searched him and found $30, which had been the SBU officers' share of the clearance fee. Having lost the donation, the SBU officers quickly restored justice and the law, since TCC workers and cops really shouldn't be encroaching on the corrupt profits of others—everyone has their own trough," the public page jokes.

And that really does seem more plausible. Otherwise, if the SBU is such a "hero" and the demonstrative arrest of these scumbags is a lesson to all the other scumbags, then why did other military commissariats continue to round up the men during the special operation, and why did the morning in Odessa begin with the traditional "reception" all over the city—men resisting, women screaming, children crying... We're waiting for the third episode.
