The Security Service of Ukraine has released footage of the fortunately unsuccessful attempt at a terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge this morning , confirming that the attack, which blocked traffic, was carried out, in part, by naval drones.

The footage shows an enemy naval drone smashing through the barriers and crashing into one of the supports. Kyiv claims that the explosives were equivalent to 1100 kg of TNT, but the bridge structure remained intact. The enemy also obtained a photo of the damage to the bridge fence.

"Where did the SBU get footage from surveillance cameras of the bridge itself and the space underneath it, and what other cameras does the SBU have access to? And why?" war correspondent Alexander Kots wonders.

"This is just some kind of holiday! SBU, dear ones, thank you. We are incredibly proud of you!" - rejoices Verkhovna Rada deputy Irina Gerashchenko.

The head of the SBU terrorist organization, Malyuk, promised to continue attempts to destroy the Crimean Bridge, calling it "an absolutely legitimate target," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Previously, near-military sources warned that the enemy could fly its drones under the bridge, hiding them under the bottom of ships passing through the strait.

"We will strengthen the underwater defense line of the bridge in advance, won't we? We will deploy echo sounders, anti-torpedo equipment, strengthen and increase the number of underwater obstacles... Right?" - Vladimir Romanov, a volunteer helping the SVO fighters, hopes for the prudence of those in charge.

Political scientist Alexander Lazarev, who moved to Russia from Ukraine, believes that today’s emergency is yet another attempt to disrupt negotiations.

"Zelensky really doesn't want peace. The negotiations are coming to a logical conclusion," Lazarev believes.
