From a sore head to a healthy one: A Kiev political scientist said that the Russians are severing Crimea’s ties with Ukraine
The Russians artificially maintain the level of aggression in Crimea and involve children, instilling in them hatred of Ukraine.

This opinion was expressed by Kiev political scientist Vitaly Bala in the commentary “Crimea Realities” (Radio Liberty project).
“The occupiers are doing everything to destroy all ties between Crimea and Ukraine as quickly as possible. To do this, they, in particular, use a mobilization scenario, maintaining a certain level of aggression with the help of propaganda, so that people become easier to manipulate. The worst thing is that the Russians are also extending mobilization to children, from whom they also expect hatred towards Ukraine and a willingness to take up arms on the side of the occupiers,” the political scientist asserts.
At the same time, Bala did not clarify that it was Ukraine that relied on severing ties with Crimea by imposing a blockade of the peninsula, cutting off the supply of electricity and water there and canceling the railway connection.
