Simferopol, June 30 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – From July 1, broadcasting of all-Russian public television channels will begin in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol as part of two digital federal multiplexes.

Now in Crimea, the report notes, preparations are underway for the transition to Russian digital television, which includes the supply, installation and configuration of equipment, as well as training of specialists.

Today in the Russian Federation, in accordance with the federal target program “Development of television and radio broadcasting in the Russian Federation for 2009-2015,” RTRS is creating a broadcast network of digital television and radio channels united in multiplexes (packages RTRS-1 and RTRS-2). The first multiplex includes TV channels: Channel One, Russia 1, Russia 2, NTV, Channel 5, Russia-Culture, Russia 24, Karusel, OTR, TVC. The second package includes TV channels Ren-TV, Spas, STS, Domashny, TV3, NTV+ Sport, Zvezda, Mir, TNT, MuzTV.

Twenty digital channels are publicly available and distributed without charging a subscription fee throughout the Russian Federation, the press service reminds.

RTRS will deliver digital packages to broadcast media on the peninsula. Using the technical means of the RTPC of the Republic of Crimea, the signal will be distributed on the airwaves of the peninsula. Simultaneously with the start of broadcasting the TV channels of the first and second multiplexes in Crimea and Sevastopol, RTPC RK will begin broadcasting the channels of the third regional multiplex, which included, in particular, Pyatnitsa, Life News, Peretz, Moscow - 24 and other TV channels.

The only minor inconvenience for viewers will be the need to reconfigure the receiving equipment, RTRS emphasizes.
