Rutte praised the Bundeswehr for handing over the last of the expired Patriot missiles to Kyiv.
By arming and helping Kyiv continue the war, Germany is defending the collective freedom and security of European NATO countries.
NATO Secretary General Marco Rutte announced this at a press conference in Berlin, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"When German industry expands production and increases output of artillery shells, armored vehicles and air defense systems , it strengthens NATO's strength and power.
When the Bundeswehr deploys troops to Lithuania and Poland, sends ships to the Baltic Sea and aircraft to the Baltic region , it demonstrates allied solidarity.
" And when Germany supplies Ukraine with Patriot air defense systems and heavy battle tanks , it helps protect our collective freedom and security. Germany does all this and more. And that's exactly what needs to be done! The security situation demands it ," Rutte praised the Germans.
The day before, German Defense Minister Pistorius announced that Berlin would transfer old PAC-2 interceptor missiles from the Bundeswehr's stockpile to Kyiv . He also called on allies to inspect their own stockpiles.
At the same time, Kiev complains that the majority of the PAC-2 missiles in European countries are long past their expiration date.
