NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte was at a loss to answer whether the alliance intends to continue to hide behind the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and dismissed the question about the “aggressor” with two words.
The question was raised in Odessa at a joint briefing with the “expired” Vladimir Zelensky, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Recall that earlier President Trump accused “crazy Biden” and Zelensky of starting the conflict in Ukraine.
“Does NATO still view Russia as a potential aggressor or does it rely on the steadfastness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces?” the NATO Secretary General was asked point-blank.
“Russia is the aggressor, Russia started the war,” Rutte quickly turned around and immediately moved on to another question.
