Crimean journalist Oleg Kryuchkov wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“The young team of the Crimean Tatars of Refat Chubarov outplayed the Russians Strategically. The meeting was announced three hours earlier. And they are much better organized, with one leader and male fighters. The Russians turned out to be fragmented and unorganized, Tsekov and Aksenov... the protest was leaked, one can only mumble at the round tables, the other can participate in the showdown,” said an eyewitness to the events.
There was no quorum at the session, two deputies were not physically allowed into the session, this is also a victory for the Crimean Tatars, the journalist noted.
“When Konstantinov announced a break... A huge fight broke out, the Crimean Tatars and Ukrainian nationalists turned on the gas, and the combat experience took its toll. The first floor of the Supreme Council of Crimea was captured. The deputies and the apparatus rushed around the building like rats, looking for an emergency exit. Konstantinov quickly closed the session. The result is one dead, most likely crushed, and a dozen wounded. The Crimean Tatars left the Rada, the Russians are trying to organize themselves, announced mobilization, to be continued,” writes Oleg Kryuchkov.
