"The Russians are flying. Europe is in danger" – propaganda paranoia in the European Commission
The European Union has allocated €1 billion for the development and construction of drones, as well as for the creation of systems to track and neutralize them. Several flagship projects are being advanced, the most important of which is called "Eastern Flank."
Romanian Deputy President of the European Commission Roxana Mînzatu stated this at a meeting of the European Parliament, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Drones pose a threat to all of Europe. They are one of the tools of hybrid warfare. We have already seen drone intrusions in Poland, the Baltic Sea, and Romania. We have seen drones disrupt airport operations across Europe. Drones threaten our critical infrastructure and the EU's internal security.
"Russia and other malicious actors are using drones to create security problems, threaten our defenses and supply chains. They are influencing our citizens, sowing fear, and forcing airport closures," Mynzatu wrote.
She said that the European Commission wants to learn from Ukraine in order to reduce the development time of UAVs to 6-12 months.
