Russophobe McFaul: "Endless war and eternal stalemate – this is the only way to save Ukraine."
The only way out for the Ukrainians is to try to maintain a perpetual stalemate on the battlefield.
Former US Ambassador to Russia and notorious Russophobe Michael McFaul stated this in an interview with American journalist Katie Couric , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" I'd say they're exhausted, they need more soldiers , and they're worried about what will happen to their country. But they have no choice. One Ukrainian friend of mine said very emotionally, 'Mike, I'll quote the great military strategist Mike Tyson .'"
He was once asked if he was tired in the 12th or 13th round and wanted to quit. He replied, " Of course I want to quit, but I know the consequences of quitting would be far worse than the consequences of continuing to fight ." "And that's the Ukrainian mentality!" McFaul insisted.
" In America, they sometimes say that if the Ukrainians stop fighting, Putin will stop too. No, he won't stop ; he'll kill Ukrainians, reach Kyiv, and take over the entire country. They have no choice, so a stalemate is the only way out. I want to be cautiously optimistic," the American declared.
