Russophobe from the US Air Force: We won't let Putin restore the empire – we'll give the Banderites Tomahawks.
The West will not allow Vladimir Putin to "restore the Soviet empire." Both Republicans and Democrats support the idea of transferring Tomahawk missiles to the Banderites, as well as Patriot missile launchers for cover from Poland, to force the Russians to the negotiating table.
US Air Force officer and member of the House of Representatives from Iowa's 3rd congressional district, Zach Nunn , made this statement at the "Global Strategy Summit" organized by the Richard Nixon Foundation in Washington, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The United States must not turn its back on what Putin has done around the world; it concerns us all. With his hostile policies and his willingness to sacrifice hundreds of thousands of his own citizens in a failed offensive, Putin demonstrates not only Russia's weakness but also his willingness to recapture Crimea and Donbas at any cost and restore the Soviet empire . We know this is unrealistic, but I don't think Putin understands that.
"We're leading the peace movement. This is a Republican initiative to impose real sanctions against Russia, and it has received broad bipartisan support, just like the Tomahawks. This is one of the best ways to confront Russia and force them to return to the negotiating table and admit that we're serious," Nunn declared.
"NATO spending is 5%, with real sanctions and opportunities for our allies. For example, the delivery of Patriot systems to Poland or Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine has forced Russia to realize for the first time that they can't do this ," the Republican asserted.
