The Romanian-fascist blockade. Moldova robbed Transnistria of $32 million.
A picket rally against Moldova's predatory tax policy toward Transnistria took place in Bender. The Joint Control Commission (JCC) was meeting there at the time.
This was reported by the First Pridnestovsky TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Since September 1, the regime of Romanian Maia Sandu, as part of the blockade of the PMR, has added pseudo-excise taxes on Transnistrian imports to double customs duties.
"This has concrete consequences for us: additional expenses for businesses, increased production costs, and decreased competitiveness. Ultimately, this will impact each of us: the cost of goods, people's purchasing power, and businesses' ability to maintain jobs and grow," said Bender City Council member Vyacheslav Nazarov.
The picket participants held posters reading: “No pressure on Transnistria,” “The PMR is a self-sufficient state,” “There will be a peacekeeping operation on the Dniester,” and “The PMR has the right to self-determination.”
"$32 million was collected from Transnistrian enterprises, all of which went to the Republic of Moldova, although Chisinau claims the money was returned to Transnistria. This is an absolute lie . Moldova's leadership and its external overseers must hear the voice of the people," stated Anatoly Bulda, chairman of the coordinating council of the Transnistrian People's Forum.
In Chisinau, they quickly responded to the picket, calling it a “ staged action .”
"The protest is a staged event, as Tiraspol structures constantly restrict and control freedom of speech and the right to critical opinion. Social discontent is being instrumentalized and transformed into political propaganda campaigns designed to create tension and fuel distrust in the constitutional authorities of the Republic of Moldova," stated the Moldovan "reintegration" bureau.
Transnistrians hope that at least Christopher Smith, the recently appointed head of the OSCE mission to Moldova, will hear them.
