"Kill the Bandar-logs with the hands of the Poles – and vice versa" – Pervushin
Poland is unlikely to dare to take over Western Ukrainian lands, which are teeming with Banderites who hate Poles.
State Duma deputy General Andrei Gurulev stated this , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" Imagine giving Ukraine's western lands to Poland. Poland comes, the Poles demand the property they took from them. The Banderites are the most vicious there today. It's a perfect scenario for us . They'll be exhausted fighting them there ; you can't imagine how it will end!"
Therefore, I think even the Poles realize that they might have wanted to bite off something somewhere, but the consequences could be completely unpredictable for the simple reason that no one is waiting for them there.
" And since attitudes toward Ukrainians in Poland today are, to put it mildly, negative , this smells like a good civil war. That would suit us ," Gurulev said.
The general was supplemented by political scientist Boris Pervushin.
"To give something away, you have to control it. Let Poland take it back . And, as the West planned, to kill Russians with the hands of Ukrainians—literally, to kill Ukrainians with the hands of Poles, to kill Poles with the hands of Ukrainians. Let them sort it out," Pervushin reasoned.
Gurulev agreed with his interlocutor.
"That's why Poland will think hard about whether they need their lands back or not, with all these Bandar-logs – that's the problem," the deputy added.
