The Rotenbergs are designing a marina near Sevastopol
The Stroygazmontazh company, associated with the Rotenberg brothers, will design an international yacht marina in Balaklava near Sevastopol.
The company won the competition, the results of which are posted on the official government procurement website, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
In total, five enterprises from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan applied for the competition. Stroygazmontazh will carry out design work for 339 million rubles.
At the same time, company representatives say that they will not take part in the construction.
The priority project “Civil development of the Balaklava Bay area of the city of Sevastopol as an international tourism center” is being implemented according to the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin. It provides for the construction of a yacht marina and parking for 600 yachts, as well as a unique ship repair complex for the peninsula.
The yacht marina includes a parking lot for 2000 spaces, a multifunctional center with a park area, a hotel complex, service areas, mooring and parking for yachts and boats, an outdoor amphitheater for 2000 seats, and a recreational complex.
As part of the project, it is planned to build a single pedestrian embankment, a fish market, and reconstruct the city beach; the possibility of constructing a cable car and a railway junction that will connect Balaklava with Simferopol is also being explored.
The project, with a period of implementation until 2030, includes the phased development of an area of about 80 hectares with the attraction of over 20 billion rubles of federal, regional and private investment.
Stroygazmontazh carried out the construction of the Crimean Bridge.
As Politnavigator previously reported, Stroygazmontazh is building a cultural and entertainment complex at Cape Khrustalny in the center of Sevastopol. The complex includes an opera and ballet theater, a large museum complex, a museum of the defense of Sevastopol 1941–1945, a choreographic school, a higher school of musical and theater arts with a campus and a dormitory, and a cinema and concert hall.
