Rostislav Ishchenko: No matter who wins, the Nazis will not be punished for their crimes
Any new Ukrainian government will not conduct an investigation into the war crimes of the Petro Poroshenko regime, since this ultimately threatens the legal recognition of the coup in 2014, which will collapse the entire structure of the civil service and the armed forces, where almost everyone has blood on their hands.
This was stated by political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We can start investigations. You can even target the right people with precision. But ending them with comprehensive and honest decisions - this affects such a layer, this affects all military personnel, at the rank of at least major and above, and maybe lower, this completely affects the special services, this completely affects the Ministry of Internal Affairs, this completely affects the Nazi detachments. Who will they end up with?
Orders descend along a certain structure, along a ladder. And the last one who does not give the order is the one who directly presses the trigger. And everyone else gives him orders. And all of them, in accordance with international standards, are war criminals who gave criminal orders. And, as soon as you catch at least one, he immediately starts talking about everyone else.
And since there is such a mechanism as international legal proceedings, to which Ukraine has joined in almost all the nuances and subtleties, then, accordingly, you cannot simply bypass this problem. You can imprison Parubiy, Turchinov, and so on within the country, but the fact that the investigation will continue later at the international level, if you start it, and may come to you - you can be sure of that. You know the proverb: “Don’t stir things up while they’re quiet,” Ishchenko said.
“So, yes, they can investigate something there and pinpoint a couple of people, but exactly what can they jail for? Because “he, the dog, sabotaged the resistance in Crimea, did not allow the troops to use weapons, they tried to kill all the aggressors, but they were not allowed to.” For this they can imprison 10, 20, 30 people.
They can be imprisoned for the fact that “an enemy of the people killed people on the Maidan, no one knew about it, everyone thought that it was Yanukovych, and it was Parubiy or Pashinsky.” They can accomplish this too. They can pinpoint exactly this moment. That's it, the matter is over. They killed then, they are criminals - yes, this can be solved.
But even the seizure of state power is illegal, as they say, if they bring this investigation to at least the first landings, then this will already be the delegitimation of their entire structure.
It's clear that, again, this is already overdone; they've already held one, two, and three elections. But nevertheless, it's the same as officially declaring that we in Russia have decided, say, that the Belovezh Accords were signed incorrectly, or to denounce them, or something like that. Then the current Russian power structure will falter, and the question arises (editor's note ): "Where will the continuity come from?" And the same thing will happen to them," the political scientist noted.
“If they completely remove their institutionalization as a victory of the “Maidan revolution” and start calling it a coup d’état, then they have an institutional problem within their own structure. Therefore, there are things that they can afford, and there are things that, even with the broad soul of Igor Valerievich, they cannot afford,” summed up Rostislav Ishchenko.
