Rostislav Ishchenko: 2025 will be significantly more dangerous than the previous year
The New Year is significantly more dangerous than the previous one in that Ukraine will no longer be involved in the clash between Russia and the West.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on the Posmotrim channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"2025 will be significantly more dangerous. 2024 was simple and clear — we finish off Ukraine, bury it, and drink to the repose of its soul . But 2025 is unclear, in a bad way. We're starting to experience another storm in the atmosphere, and we no longer have (perhaps temporarily) a platform where we could play soldier and pretend we're not at war with the West. Although, in principle, both we and the West acknowledged that this is a direct confrontation between us and them," Ishchenko said.
When asked what needs to happen for the West to decide to listen to its opponents and compromise, the expert replied that it is simply necessary to realize that Western hegemony no longer exists and will not exist in the foreseeable future.
"And the best option for the West is not to bring things to a confrontation, in which it will lose in any case. Only either alone or together with the entire planet. But to go for regionalization. Actually, the compromise that Russia constantly offers is regionalization, it is like the world is governed not by the General Secretary, but by the Politburo.
Not one state, but several. And each has its own region in which it dominates, and the task of this "geopolitburo" is to balance the interests of the regions within the framework of world politics. As soon as the West realizes this and agrees with it, there will only be technical problems," the political scientist explained.
