“The results of the appeal are super-optimistic,” Aksenov assured. “Brotherly Russia will soon allocate $1 billion for economic stabilization in Crimea, and then about another $5 billion will be sent to the Republic.”

“Moreover, at our request, the Russian Federation separately plans to allocate in the near future special funds in the amount of 240 million hryvnia for the resettlement of deported peoples and, first of all, the most numerous of them – the Crimean Tatars,” Aksenov added.

In this regard, he appealed to various political structures of the Crimean Tatars and to each Crimean Tatar individually with a request to remain calm and support the initiatives of the republican authorities.

“On this land, over centuries, a special multinational ethnic group – the Crimeans – has been formed, and what our ancestors built for so long bit by bit cannot be destroyed within a few days by individual politicians,” Aksenov believes.

Russia will allocate 10 billion hryvnias to Crimea and a separate 240 million hryvnias for the resettlement of Crimean Tatars.
