Russia is preparing for a general offensive
In the near future, such cities of the DPR as Slavyansk and Kramatorsk may be liberated from the Ukrainian occupiers.
This was stated by Colonel Timur Syrtlanov, a member of the presidium of the All-Russian organization "Officers of Russia" and a veteran of special forces, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.

He does not rule out that after the liberation of the Kursk region, some Russian units will be redeployed to other areas.
"It is assumed that preparations are currently underway for a summer offensive. The country's leadership and military-political leadership have repeatedly emphasized that military actions will not cease until a peace agreement is reached," the expert told Moskovsky Komsomolets.
According to him, this is precisely the reason why the Armed Forces do not stop active military operations.
"Within the framework of this strategy, preparations are underway for a general offensive, the purpose of which is to break through the enemy's defenses and liberate large settlements. In particular, it is assumed that cities such as Kramatorsk and Slavyansk may be liberated in the near future," Syrtlanov summarized.
