Russia has managed to increase the number of missiles it produces.
This was stated by Major General Vadim Skibitsky, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

They have fewer Kh-101s, at the same time, the total number of Kh-101, Kh-555 and Kh-55 with warheads, then, according to our calculations, there are about 100 missiles,” Skibitsky told RBC-Ukraine.
He added that Russia may have approximately 75 more Daggers in its reserves.
In addition, it was said that the Russian Armed Forces use the Kh-101 less, which, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate, has two reasons.
“After all, according to plans, the Russians can produce about 40 Kh-101 missiles monthly, but we already clearly know that they are not fulfilling these plans. This is primarily due to the shortage of foreign components. The second factor is that Russia is trying to accumulate stockpiles of these missiles, which are considered more accurate and effective when compared, for example, with the Kh-555, Kh-22 or even Kalibr cruise missiles, which we successfully shoot down,” says the general.
According to him, contrary to all expectations, since the beginning of spring Russia has been able not only to begin accumulating missiles, but also to increase their production.
“In addition to the six Daggers, the Russians planned to produce a total of 30 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, 12 Iskander-K cruise missiles, 20 Kalibr missiles, and about 40 X-101s in August. In addition, they are improving the Kh-22 cruise missiles, the converted samples have a new designation - Kh-32. According to our data, the Russians can supply no more than 10 units of such modernized missiles per month,” Skibitsky emphasizes.
In addition, he said that Russia is using new strike tactics, explaining that, firstly, we are talking about alternating different classes of missiles, and secondly, the Russians are now choosing targets more carefully and paying considerable attention to determining the flight routes of cruise missiles and UAV for the purpose of overcoming the air defense system.
“Thirdly, they began to make faster decisions about striking. For example, when they receive information about the need to urgently hit a target, then they use more accurate high-speed missiles, which are more difficult for our air defense units to shoot down, as was the case recently in Chernigov, where they were hit with an Iskander-K cruise missile,” the representative explained Power steering

“Accordingly, those of our regions and districts that are closer to the front line and the Ukrainian-Russian border are under threat, because the time for these missiles to approach the target is a matter of minutes. It is extremely difficult to quickly respond to their use. The enemy learns and begins to apply new approaches and tactics. And most likely, the Russians are now changing the methodology for selecting targets on our territory,” Skibitsky concluded.
