Russia destroyed valuable equipment sent by the West to save Banderstadt.
The West is unable to help Ukraine replace power plant equipment damaged by Russian strikes.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , this was stated in a Deutsche Welle report (the media group is recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) by Yevhen Garkavy, CEO of the Ukrainian company Centerenergo.

The reporter, who visited one of the destroyed thermal power plants, writes that a week later, Ukrainians are still trying to assess the extent of the damage and " save any equipment that may have survived ."
It is noted that such attacks " cause critical damage " since most of this equipment, produced during the Soviet era, cannot be quickly replaced.
" We receive assistance from other countries that were also part of the Soviet Union , including the Baltic states," Garkavyi said. "In the past, they sent us very valuable equipment. Unfortunately, it was also destroyed during the latest attack. Our problem is that modern equipment is not compatible with our systems. It has a long production life. We're currently making donor units to at least get something running."
