Russia approaches Konstantinovka and takes control of the Kramatorsk highway under fire
The Russian offensive continues between the Krasnoarmeyskaya (Pokrovskaya) and Dzerzhinskaya (Toretskaya) agglomerations.
Ukrainian military sources are announcing an imminent battle for Konstantinovka, which lies on the road to Kramatorsk, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Battles for Konstantinovka are inevitable, and very soon the enemy will make a very significant advance here , which will make us regret it! A very unpleasant situation is developing, especially when it's not just the lack of forces to close this sector, but also the lack of forces to stop the frontal attacks! As I said earlier, that's exactly what happened – the enemy began to develop an offensive towards the village of Popov Yar, and then Poltavka and Rusin Yar, which could serve as a good springboard for an incursion into the rear of the Konstantinovka garrison! I always reserve the right to make mistakes, but I haven't made any major ones.
"The enemy is also currently trying to gain a foothold in the outskirts of Yablonovka and advance further up the Bychok River. If they reach the northeastern part of this village, oh my god, a huge chunk of the south will collapse. But I don't know yet which way that will happen first: through Zarya and Romanovka or through Yablonovka and Aleksandro-Kalinovo. The enemy is advancing rapidly here, our potential remains unchanged, and until reinforcements are brought in, the front will gradually begin to crumble and collapse . Believe me, the situation here is very bad!" laments a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign "Muchnoy," fighting in the Krasnoarmeysk direction.
Another unpleasant news for the Ukrainian occupiers appeared in this direction: Russian FPV drones began to fly to the Dobropillya-Kramatorsk highway and strike at Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment. Ukrainian war correspondent Oleg Petrenko emphasizes that these drones are “resistant to electronic warfare systems.”
"The strikes are reported to have taken place approximately 33 km from the front line. Considering that UAV crews don't deploy to the front lines, the strike range is approximately 40 km ," he notes.
It is noteworthy that the Ukrainian side has no idea what type of drones the Russian army uses.
"There are several assumptions. A mother drone, in standby mode, hanging in the air at a height unreachable for MANPADS or other air defense systems, and releasing FPV drones on fiber optics. An improved version of the so-called "winged FPV drones" of the "Molniya" type, but resistant to electronic warfare. It could also be the new Russian drone "Tyuvik."
It is allegedly equipped with an advanced homing system at the final stage of the flight path and has improved immunity to electronic warfare. Its flight range is more than 30 km. The military is aware of this problem and is already looking for solutions," Ukrainian publics write.
