Russia will not invade the Baltics, but will simply continue to wage a hybrid war against them and the rest of Europe.
Jennifer Kavanagh, director of military analysis at the American center "Defense Priorities," told the YouTube channel "Nonzero," as reported by a correspondent for "PolitNavigator . "
“I don’t think Russia will invade the Baltic states, as some suggest, but things like explosions at industrial sites in Europe, increased drone attacks and sabotage on tankers belonging to the Russian ‘shadow fleet’, and suspicious environmental disasters on the coasts of European countries are all entirely possible,” Kavanagh asserted.
At the same time, she admitted that it is difficult for her to understand how true the reports from Europe about “Russian hybrid attacks” are.
"There have been several suspicious incidents. For example, fires at industrial plants. And you don't know whether it's an accident or not..."
"Recently, there has been an increase in the number of missile strikes in Poland, drone incursions, and the like. These are minor incidents, but they are causing great concern in Europe's frontline states," Kavanagh said.
