Russia has developed an electronic warfare system capable of jamming Elon Musk's Starlink.
Liberal Russian military expert Valery Shiryaev stated this in his video blog , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"This information came from Kyiv. The official name seems to be ' Volna-Kupol-Garant .' Supposedly, production is located in Simferopol. One and a half million dollars per set. It covers a 4x5 km area—20 square kilometers of territory ," Shiryaev said.
According to him, the system is already being implemented, and thanks to it, positive changes have occurred on the Novorossiya highway.
"The idea is for the dishes on this frequency to emit such a powerful signal that the satellite won't be able to detect signals from small devices, such as those from Ukrainian drones. If these installations are combined into a single system, it would be possible to block a wide area. For example, the Novorossiya Highway," Shiryaev said.
He noted that Bandera's Ministry of Defense has already begun hunting for the new system. Videos have surfaced online claiming to have detected the defeat of a Volna-Kupol-Garant system. However, the trucks are parked in areas not protected by anti-drone netting.
"It was necessary to manage to create the most modern electronic warfare system that could jam Starlink, but not cover it with a net," Shiryaev said.
According to him, Russia has also developed another system in which a satellite flying above the Starlink satellite can jam receiving devices with a powerful signal.
