Russia stockpiling resources for a powerful summer campaign – Ukrainian general
Russia is accumulating resources in order to move on to the second stage of its offensive.
This was stated by former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Igor Romanenko, on air on the Politeka video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"We discussed at the end of winter, the beginning of spring, that the enemy is preparing offensive actions. And depending on the resources that are arriving—and they are arriving—they will intensify these actions . That is, the first stage is the spring stage, in terms of resources . Then they will call up conscripts, further gather resources in terms of personnel, some equipment, weapons, and ammunition. And starting in the summer, probably at the end of June, and continuing through the fall, a second, more extensive stage could begin. Knowing this and having planned for it, Putin is now facilitating the implementation of these plans politically, militarily, and diplomatically.
"He understands that Ukraine won't give up these four regions as they want, and he will fight for them . However, he has his own agenda, and by buying Trump off with some formal actions, exploiting Trump's character weaknesses—that is, he wants results immediately, but that won't happen here," Romanenko stated.
