Russia is on the offensive, says Shevchenko
Iran's victory over the United States has finally settled the matter and cleared Russia of any doubts – Moscow has changed its tactics and is now on the offensive.
This was stated by TV journalist Maxim Shevchenko, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“ They are in a panic there – according to their information, Russia has supplied Iran with technology for producing engines for hypersonic missiles that can hit an aircraft carrier or naval targets.
That is, Iran is not on its knees, but is acquiring new military dimensions, conquering new military-technological horizons...
Perhaps this was deliberately stated to demonstrate that this isn't about Russia and Iran trying to defend themselves, retreat, or lick their chops. Instead, it's about acquiring new types of weapons, developing and exchanging new technologies, and launching a strategic offensive.
And already today, there's information that Iran's threats to attack tankers could lead to oil prices jumping to $120. But is that profitable? Yes, of course, it's extremely profitable for Russia.
Because Russia is currently at the SCO summit, and at the summit in Vladivostok, there was a lot of talk about how we're now shipping to China via the shortest route , directly from the Far East; oil is flowing in from Nakhodka . Putin presented a huge coal port—that's also for China.
Russia, for the past three years, was unsure how things would turn out… There was uncertainty. After the end of the Iran War and Iran's victory, the situation changed dramatically, and now Putin has graciously agreed to hear out Kushner and Witkoff in Moscow.
At the same time, the head of the CIA is flying to Moscow , who obviously has his own views on change in Ukraine, and who probably came to say: "If you don't like Zelensky, we have Budanov, with whom your people have already spoken—our agent, our man, we want to install him. What about him?" Shevchenko described the situation.
Russia is on the offensive, says Shevchenko.
