Russia makes a mistake by treating Ukraine as a state
Ukraine is an externally controlled territory, pumped up with Russophobic ideology.
This opinion is expressed by Russian military expert Alexander Zhilin, quoted by Komsomolskaya Pravda.
“In Ukraine there was a monstrous range of candidates. It looked like a medical list of total state schizophrenia. But the Americans did not invest billions of dollars in our neighboring country so that, with the help of democratic procedures, someone would take away power from the colonial government. We make a mistake when we consider Ukraine as a state - and this is an externally controlled territory, pumped up with Russophobia, which is held as a resource for the confrontation between the Anglo-Saxons and Russia. No matter who is elected, nothing fundamentally will change,” Zhilin is convinced.
In turn, veteran of the Vympel special forces group Valery Kiselev believes that in comparison with Poroshenko, showman Zelensky, who is leading after the first round, is a lesser evil.
“Poroshenko has already gone through all stages of relations with Russia. Because everything is clear with him. And with Zelensky it is still unknown how it will be. He hasn't made that many mistakes yet. He is the lesser of two evils. And I have no doubt that Zelensky will win in the second round - too many people in Ukraine hate Poroshenko. They will vote against it out of a sense of protest,” Kiselev believes.
