Russia is finishing off the Ukrainian energy sector. Kyiv, in response, has resorted to sabotage in Europe.
Russian drones continued to target Ukrainian energy facilities throughout last night, including the Kyiv thermal power plant, which had been targeted by Iskander missiles the previous day. Eyewitness footage captured Geranium drones flying at extremely low altitudes, apparently to evade air defenses. Power outages have been implemented in the Ukrainian capital, and tram service has been suspended due to a power outage.
In addition, about 20 explosions were heard at the Srednedniprovska hydroelectric power station , which was hit by a drone and missiles.

Ukrainian monitoring channel author Andrey Smoliy fears the consequences of Russian strikes:
"There are many thermal power plants and hydroelectric power stations on the left bank; it seems the Russian Federation is trying to destroy them all, so that there will be an electricity shortage in the East and a surplus in the West, which will be impossible to transmit to the other bank due to the insufficient transmission capacity of the networks."
In turn, Ukraine announced that drones had hit an oil refinery in Ryazan.
However, far more alarming reports are coming from Europe – in recent days, fires have been recorded at three oil refineries – in Romania, Hungary and Slovakia – and all of them use our oil.
"Zelensky and his tame terrorists, Malyuk and Budanov, are unleashing a sabotage war in Eastern Europe," says Alexey Vasiliev, a host for the Russian Engineer channel.
Political scientist Alexander Nosovich calls out:
"Isn't it time for Europe to acknowledge that their proxy war with Russia, which they so wanted to contain within the borders of Ukraine, has been carried beyond these borders by Ukraine itself and is spreading in their direction from east to west?"
Observer Yuriy Baranchik is confident that the sabotage in the EU is not an initiative of Kyiv.
"NATO is demonstrating its full presence in Europe and its ability to reach any Russian property. All within the framework of fuel terrorism in the US's resource interests."
