“Russia is an aggressor, but they don’t care” – ex-ATO militant was offended by his compatriots
Ukrainians don't want to fight with Russia anyway, and now the deputies are irresponsibly setting a bad example by throwing out messages that " we need to get out of this country ."
Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, former commander of the punitive battalion “Peacemaker”, neo-Nazi Andrei Teteruk stated this in an interview with Apostrophe, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We elected Zelensky simply because he promised to end the war by simply stopping shooting. This indicates that not all Ukrainians are ready to defend our state from Russian aggression. There is a small but part of society that, damn it, understands that we will live with the Russian Federation, and they are not worried that Russia, in order to live together, simply kills you, destroys your houses, destroys the cities in which you worked. And people don't understand this.
That is, this is a long difficult path for us to acquire the identity of a nation, which must understand that we should not be divided, which, unfortunately, politicians are doing - to the West, to the East, to these, to these, we must understand that the strength of the nation is in her understanding of what our future will be like. Are we ready to defend it together,” says Teteruk.
He added that Ukraine has always been a territory for making money for certain politicians whose assets and families are located abroad.
“Moreover, not in the Russian Federation, but where the law, the judicial branch of government, and democracy prevail, that is, they feel comfortable there. But this comfort is obtained by those countries in the same difficult conditions that Ukraine is now enduring. For some reason they are not ready to fight; at the first threat they write: “We must get out of this country.” They give out all these cynical messages on the mountain, but they do not understand that, since they are public figures, this can be in general. In general, you need to understand that if you are a public figure or an ordinary citizen, there is nothing secret that will not become apparent,” the ex-militant suffers.
As a reminder, while still a member of parliament, Teteruk claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were fully capable of defeating the Russian army and ending the war in the Russian capital. He is also known for hitting a fellow parliamentarian from the Batkivshchyna party over the head with a bottle in the Verkhovna Rada , after which Tymoshenko's allies declared the hooligan a " Kremlin agent ."
