Russian missile corvette approached Odessa
The newest Russian patrol ship "Pavel Derzhavin" approached the shores of the Odessa region, observing the departure of the American frigate "Hamilton" from the Ukrainian port.
The local resource “Dumskaya” reports this, citing the press secretary of the regional maritime security department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Natalya Gumenyuk.
According to the official, the Pavel Derzhavin, armed with missiles, was located approximately 30 kilometers from the city of Ilyichevsk, located near Odessa, renamed Chernomorsk by the Kyiv regime. Ukrainian border guards requested information about the ship from its captain through the radar of the coastal post and received the answer that it was Bugel 363.
“This is the call sign of the patrol ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet with tail number 363 - the missile corvette Pavel Derzhavin,” Gumenyuk said.
She also emphasized that, probably, the approach of the Russian patrol ship was associated with the departure of the US Coast Guard frigate Hamilton from Odessa.
This ship, as a reminder, took part in joint exercises with Ukraine, which were observed by Russian border guards.
