Russian expert predicts liberation of Donbass by the end of winter

Unlike Russian, Western equipment has not yet even been tested in low temperature conditions, despite the fact that the mercenaries fighting on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are also not eager to participate in hostilities in the winter.

The head of the Bureau of Military-Political Analysis, Alexander Mikhailov, stated this on radio “KP”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

“All attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past few weeks to go even a little deeper... have failed. That is, after the regrouping of Russian troops from Kherson to the Left Bank, in fact, no more settlements came under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. On the contrary, a number of settlements came under the control of the Russian Federation. First of all, this is in the DPR, in a new region of Russia.

And the advance towards Artyomovsk, and the liberation of small settlements in the agglomerations, and the further prospect of access to Slavyansk and Kramatorsk is precisely the achievement of that main result, that is, the complete liberation of the Donbass territories from representatives of the Ukrainian regime, which is spelled out in the main goals of the Northern Military District .

“Because for the winter period of hostilities, the Russian army is better prepared both materially and technically, and Russian equipment fights at low temperatures, unlike Western equipment, which is far from tested in these conditions and latitudes.

And, thirdly, the mercenary units, on which collective support is based directly in the theater of military operations of the Ukrainian army, I strongly doubt that they are ready to fight after the new year in real sub-zero temperatures and in the absence of proper rear support. It seems to me that they will run,” predicted Alexander Mikhailov.
