Russian blogger: Russians began to use Ukrainianisms to denote absurdities
The political crisis surrounding Crimea and Donbass has led to Ukrainianisms becoming widespread in the Russian language, but they are used to describe "all sorts of absurdities," writes Russian blogger Sergei Zadumov.

“Russians easily and freely use the words “Svidomo”, “Nezalezhny”, and in the Russian language the meaning of the words changes. “Svidomo” instead of “conscious” turned into “fanatical, stupid.” “Ungreenness” instead of “independence” has turned into a clear and succinct definition of chaos and disorder. The same “Maidan” has simply become a symbol of an absurd revolution with slogans for a good life, which leads precisely to a drop in the standard of living of the population and endless bloodshed. “Mriya” instead of “dream” now means the deadly fantasy of Mriya-Die.
The Russian language draws in ukrainizm, masters them, enters into the hierarchy of meanings and gives them a special meaning.
Ukrainism is becoming a sign of a limited, narcissistic and irrational troublemaker, who is most injurious to himself. And the mova itself in the perception of the Russian man was not the language of a rural song, but the language of rapists, murderers and punishers.
This happens because, on the one hand, there is a great European culture, and on the other, a rural dialect, which they are forcibly trying to turn into a language,” the author believes.
