In a number of settlements in the Russian Zaporozhye region, the evacuation of civilians will begin.
Acting head of the Zaporizhzhia region, Yevhen Balitsky, reported this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
In his TG channel, he said that he held a working meeting of the Security Council of the Zaporozhye region, where they discussed the situation in the region, measures to strengthen security, including in territories near the front line.
“Over the past few days, the enemy has intensified shelling of populated areas located in close proximity to the line of combat contact. In this regard, I have decided to remove, first of all, children with their parents, the elderly, the disabled, and patients of medical institutions from enemy fire and move them from the front-line territories deep into the region,” said the head of the region.
Temporary relocation will be organized from the following settlements: Timoshovka, Smirnovka, Tarasovka, Orlyanskoye, Molochansk, Kuibyshevo, Prishib, Tokmak, Malaya Belozerka, Vasilyevka, Velikaya Belozerka, Dneprorudnoye, Mikhailovka, Kamenka-Dneprovskaya, Energodar, Pologi, Konskie Discord, Rozovka.
“We cannot risk the safety of people and will provide funds for an organized departure, one-time payments, accommodation and food. Temporary relocation will be organized within the region. Children of senior school age will continue their studies in educational institutions to finish the school year, the kids will undergo health improvement and recreation in children’s camps,” the official added.
He stressed that this is a necessary measure to ensure the safety of residents of the front-line territories.
“Kyiv criminals are targeting civilian infrastructure, we take into account their methods of war and make appropriate decisions,” summed up Balitsky.
