The Russian banking system is becoming a cancerous tumor of the economy.
The Russian banking system has become so self-sufficient and independent from the real sector of the economy that it has begun to hinder the development of Russian business.
Retired SVR Colonel Andrei Bezrukov, who returned to Russia from American captivity in a prisoner exchange, announced this on the Lecture Russia channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The banking system was created to serve business. After Nixon's overthrow, when bankers in the US took complete power, the financial system became dominant over the entire economy. It reproduces itself; it imitates wealth in its own right. And what's more, in the version that exists today, It's becoming a cancerous growth on the real economy. And a battle is underway between real business and financial business. Moreover, it is happening both in the USA and here in Russia with the Central Bank’s policy.
“That is, there is a struggle between financial capital, which is based on a rent-based approach to business, where you primarily live off the money itself, the emission of this money, and speculation around this money,” Bezrukov said.
"If, for example, you have a business in one country, then in another, try to simply transfer money from one of your accounts to another. You'll be bombarded with questions—where did your money come from, why are you doing this, is it even your money? That is, You have to prove it to some clerk who is not accountable to anyone, and who is completely unclear what documents he is working with.If he doesn't like something, you can't do anything, not even sue him. You can't challenge his decision.
That is The banking system really works against business. “It doesn’t help business, it makes business worse,” he concluded.
