Russian artillery crushes Ukrainian infantry
Ukrainian propaganda is trying to sow panic in the liberated territories by spreading rumors about a counter-offensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, while military correspondent Alexander Kots writes about this in Komsomolskaya Pravda.
He notes that he cannot imagine the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counter-offensive on Kherson, which is regularly trumpeted in Kyiv..
“Usually the decision to attack and the direction of the main attack is kept secret. But here it’s another matter – this is some kind of information calculation. They write to me from the liberated territories about the mood in them: they are scaring people on social networks, “we will liberate Kherson, and we will liberate Berdyansk,” that they will bomb. And people are afraid. They are counting on this panic on the eve of referendums,” writes Kots.
He also touched upon the topic of foreign arms supplies to Ukraine.
“It is clear that the Highmars are better than the Hurricane in accuracy. But the “three axes” - M-777 - are taken with range. In order to hunt these types of weapons, Russian [artillerymen] and special forces have to drive our howitzers almost to the front line, which is unusual for artillery, however, ours have already learned how to deal with them.
Three Hymars installations have already been destroyed. This is not the pace that many would like, but it shows that it is still possible to fight this,” the publication notes.
At the same time, the author emphasizes that in the end everything is decided by the infantry and its quality.
“But Ukraine doesn’t have this. They have a lot of infantry (many times more than we do), but they throw it at tanks with bare machine guns, which they complain about in their videos. That is why our progress is not fast. There is a “grinding” of the human mass, which Ukraine is completely irrationally throwing under Russian artillery,” Kots concluded.
