Russian attacks on Ukrainian ports and ships sailing there have made serious logistics and trade impossible for Ukraine.
Military analyst Alexander Artamonov stated this on the air of the Book Day Center x Delib video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I looked at statistics from a month ago – we were sinking about 15-20 ships a week. That's insane. And one dry cargo ship, that's a real figure, is equivalent to 10 heavy trucks. So, if we sank one dry cargo ship just to deliver weapons, we'd have to drive 10 trucks to Ukraine along the roads under fire.
"And how many dry cargo ships we've sunk in a month! So today, the largest sea carriers are refusing to operate on the Black Sea route. In other words, it's a total blackout, a complete naval blockade, imposed in response to the actions of the other side," Artamonov said.
"And it turns into a head-on collision. They're trying to hit as hard as possible, based on Nazi ideology, wherever there are people. They could simply hit a residential area or an airport.

Russia has entered the second wave of Ukraine's military-industrial complex's transition back to the Stone Age. "If they want to fight, let them fight with stone axes. Because, fundamentally, there's no way to secure logistical supplies today," he added.
