Russia needs to prepare for war for the Black Sea coast – Baranets
The Russian Federation must prepare for the fact that in addition to a land war in the North-Eastern Military District, it will have to fight with Western countries in other areas, including for Black Sea ports.
Retired colonel and military observer Viktor Baranets stated this on the Red Line television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Strategically speaking, we must be prepared to wage several types of wars at once . First, of course, a war with Ukraine, which is backed by a whole coalition of countries. Further , I don't rule out, and I think we'll probably fight the French and the British for the Black Sea coast ."
They've already openly stated that they're interested in the port facilities, and they'll be moving in. I don't rule out the possibility that the European Union will provoke Russia to withdraw its military operations outside the Russian Federation . And that would be a different, new type of war. We think we need to think about this very seriously now ," Baranets said.
