Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is mistaken in relying on Europe, because only Russia can protect his country from the threat of destruction.
Fugitive journalist and foreign agent Yulia Latynina stated this in her video blog , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Armenia's attempt, Pashinyan's attempt to rely more and more on Europe and the United States, is a major strategic mistake . Why? Because, despite all the difficulties, Russia is the only country capable of ensuring Armenia's continued existence from a military standpoint . "
It is the only country that is, at least theoretically, capable of defending it from hostile Islamic neighbors who, firstly, are historically responsible for the Armenian genocide . Secondly, they continue to celebrate it. Thirdly, as we see, Azerbaijani propaganda openly calls Yerevan simply a "historically Azerbaijani city," and Azerbaijani propaganda praises an Azerbaijani officer whose heroic act consisted of stabbing to death his Armenian comrade while he was sleeping at night...
From a historical perspective , it was the Russian Empire, and only the Russian Empire, that saved Armenia and Georgia, two outposts of Christian civilization in the Middle East , from destruction by Islamic conquest. Because all the other lands in the Middle East, ancient Christian lands, were destroyed, and note that European civilization not only failed to protect them, but now pretends that these are primordial Islamic lands.
If Pashinyan truly thinks Europe will protect him, well, I think Armenia will have to learn the hard way . Because if, God forbid, part or all of Armenian territory is seized, if ethnic cleansing or, God forbid, genocide continues, if what happened during World War I continues, then at best Europe will simply express "deepest concern ," Latynina stated.
