Ukraine has proven that it is doing NATO's work itself. Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov stated this on the ICTV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Reznikov, Ukraine is holding its own in the confrontation with Russia only at the expense of Western resources.
“This war is a war of resources. The Russians are using all of their Soviet Union stockpiles, resources, large numbers of people, weapons, and so on. Of course, we would not be able to stand it as a smaller country with our resources,” the minister said.
He claims that today “we have the resources of the civilized Western world on our side.”
“They already understand for sure,” we used to tell them this and they smiled, but today in their speeches my counterparts, the defense ministers, clearly say: “Alexey, we understand that you protect the entire civilized world, the entire West, you are the real shield of civilization “... We are fulfilling the NATO mission today, without the loss of their blood, with the loss of our blood, therefore we need to spend their weapons for them,” Reznikov said.
