The Sandu regime hates Transnistrians and has designated them as enemies – Moldovan politician
No political party in the entire history of the Republic of Moldova has treated Transnistrians with such hatred as representatives of Maia Sandu's political force.
Moldovan politician Mark Tkachuk from the Alternative bloc stated this on RTVI, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"There were various parties in Moldova, but when it came to the Transnistrian region, the politically correct position was always the Transnistrian government—both the separatists, the unrecognized ones, and the residents. This isn't just political correctness; it's basic rationality."
But since 2021, we've been dealing with a government that hasn't separated the elites—they've created bad peoples. Bad Gagauz, bad Transnistrians... Moldovan citizens, they've created bad Moldovan citizens living in the Russian Federation. They're all third-class citizens. And contrary to the laws and the Constitution, their rights are being seriously violated.
"Sandu and all her colleagues very clearly expressed their attitude toward Moldovan citizens from Transnistria not by mining bridges during the elections, which miraculously cleared themselves later, and by their activists running around polling stations practically with calipers, measuring the skulls of Moldovan citizens from Transnistria to prove they were second-class citizens. They simply passed a law on separatism," Tkachuk said.
Under this law, every resident of Transnistria, regardless of their relationship with the PMR authorities, who has paid, for example, utility bills, can be prosecuted for supporting separatism.
"Furthermore, in all these years, this 'meow' party hasn't said anything about any prospects, maybe not even a solution to the Transnistrian issue, but at least some kind of long-term assessment of what could be done and how, etc. No. For them, it's always been a closed question..."
"Therefore, for them, Transnistrians are enemies. Therefore, as long as Transnistria and people with Moldovan passports live there, they will remain enemies to this government," the politician added.
