The Ukrainian government, having concluded a resource deal with the United States, essentially sold the country, but received the opportunity to remain in power.
This was stated on the channel of journalist and foreign agent Alexander Shelest by the former employee of the Ukrainian embassy in the USA, political scientist Andrey Telizhenko, who left Ukraine, a correspondent for PolitNavigator reports.
" They signed it, surrendered Ukraine, its resources, its mineral wealth, and everything they could. Without announcing the list to the people of Ukraine, as they say, they forgot the workers, the workers, only the bourgeoisie is rejoicing because they still have time to hang on to power for a little while longer. They've managed to squeeze out this extra leeway for themselves—that's what this contract shows. Seriously, show me what's really there. Because they say it's 50/50, but that's not this contract."
