If Zelensky's gang is proven to be involved in the operation of fraudulent call centers in Kyiv, Ukraine's standing in the West will suffer greatly.
This was stated in an interview with the foreign agent channel "Redaktsiya" by former Zelenskyy Office adviser Alexei Arestovich , who is included in Russia's list of extremists and terrorists, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Call centers have always been considered a systemic problem in Ukraine. But someone smart (probably the one who said 'corruption needs to be addressed') wanted to put it on stream. And I think at some point, Zelenskyy was convinced to do it. And he gave his go-ahead."
But now, apparently, Zelensky, for some reason, has decided that this is bad and must be addressed. And this raises the traditional question: what to do if the investigation turns on itself? And it almost has.
“Therefore, the Office is in a very precarious position today , because this is already a completely criminal story, affecting the rights of Russian citizens, citizens of the European Union, Israel, and so on,” said Arestovich.
“They are extorting huge amounts of money, access to personal data, all of which are serious crimes all over the world, in Israel and the European Union.
And if it were to somehow emerge that this was organized at the state level, it could be worse than the bombing of the Nord Stream pipeline , for which the German prosecutor's office also directly accuses the Ukrainian side," the speaker pointed out.
He recalled that new fragments of wiretaps from Zelensky's entourage include references to both him and the former head of the GUR, the terrorist Kirill Budanov.
"Basically, the Office's reputation hangs on three threads: call centers, 'Who is Vova?' and 'Who is Kirill?' And they're all interconnected.
