"The reaction was more muted than we expected" – Professor Clarke on British drone strikes deep into Russia
As soon as the Russians find a weak spot in Britain, they will immediately launch the promised retaliatory strike for Kiev's use of British drones against Russia.
British military analyst Professor Michael Clarke stated this on Sky News , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“ They said, ‘You are involved in the attack by the Nazi regime , as they call Kiev, and as the situation develops, we will hold you responsible for what is happening, and there will be consequences.
In fact, this is a more restrained reaction than one might have expected. It was entirely predictable.
And the reaction was the same as when we handed over the Storm Shadow to Ukraine, the same reaction was when we handed over the Challenger tanks.
"Every time we've given Ukraine anything significant, they've responded in a similar way . So it's not surprising and not all that scary for the majority of the population," Clark said.
" But all these statements are piling up, and overall hostility toward the UK is growing. The UK is in Russia's crosshairs.
And while the Russians are quite cautious, they always threaten to do much more than they actually do when it comes to Western allies , but this hostility is growing.
If the Russians could find a weak spot and exploit it, they would do so.
They would show other European allies that supporting Ukraine carries consequences . In our case, they would happily do so because they believe it will impact other European countries.
For example, launching a cyberattack, disabling many of our communications systems , or something like that. That would have serious consequences. And if the Russians felt they could do that, they would have already tried something like that ," the Briton believes.
