Disappointment of the Kyiv propagandist: Ukrainian media are turning into Little Russian media
Ukrainian nationalist journalist Serhiy Grabovsky blasted the position of domestic media outlets, which called the recent burning of portraits of Bandera and Shukhevych in Poland a response to the Ukrainian nationalist march in Lviv, which took place under the slogan "Lviv is not for Polish lords."
According to Grabovsky, Ukrainian propaganda cannot equate these events and must harshly condemn the Polish Nazis.
The publicist wrote about this in his column in the Kyiv newspaper Den, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“On the Ukrainian side, in this context, the syndrome of ignorance and capitulation, which should be called “Little Russian journalism,” once again manifested itself. Let us pay attention to what phrases the leading domestic news agencies used in describing the action in front of the Ukrainian Embassy in Warsaw: “anti-Polish march in Lviv”, “Polish nationalists”, “direct response to the Lviv march of nationalists”, etc.
Thus, “Little Russian journalism” identified the patriotic action in Lvov with the chauvinistic action in Warsaw, put Ukrainian nationalists (many of whom fought and are fighting in eastern Ukraine) on the same level with pro-Russian lovers of “great Poland,” Grabovsky comes to the conclusion.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Grabovsky expressed outrage at the fact that, despite decommunization , sympathy for the USSR was growing in Ukraine.
