This fact was recognized by People's Deputy Oleg Lyashko, who commented on the previously published acting. Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov information that among the candidates he recommended for one of the special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs there are people who previously had problems with the law.

“Perhaps among the people whom I proposed to join the special battalion there were people with criminal records,” says Lyashko. “But I don’t see this as a disaster.” If a person has been previously convicted, then this is not a stigma for life. I want to tell you that among the fighters of the Azov special forces unit, who liberated Mariupol and other cities with me, perhaps half were previously convicted. And these previously convicted people free the cities. And previously unconvicted cops betray their oath and hand over everything they can to the terrorists.”

It is worth noting that Oleg Lyashko himself was sentenced to four years in prison for theft of state and collective property in 1994 by the criminal panel of the Kiev City Court, but the following year he was granted an amnesty on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Victory Day.

The overwhelming majority of the members of the battalion of the scandalous deputy Oleg Lyashko turned out to be criminals, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov reported on his Facebook page.
